Treasured memories

Created by Adrian 7 months ago

Being an old school friend of Marc, I have known John since I was a small boy. Furthermore , I was very fortunate that John and Jacqui also became firm friends of my parents, Brian and Sue. As a result, John has been a much appreciated presence in most of my life.  I have great memories of various outings and treats he organised, in which he kindly included me. His interest in sport and jazz music was reflected in an ice hockey match at Wembley, an Oscar Peterson concert at the Festival Hall, and amazingly watching a Chelsea football game from the Directors' box....to name just a few.

So after nearly 60 years. this presence has now departed, and I for one will miss those friendly avuncular chats , filled with his sharp wit and wry sense of humour. Farewell and God bless , John. RIP.

Lots of love from , Adrian , Fenella, Darina and Arianna. XXXX.

P.S. By the way Thierry, I remember that lovely old Jag. I seem to remember it was blue with red leather interior.
