I played squash with John for nearly 48 years and I was privileged to enjoy John's sense of fairplay and lots of humour,followed by pints of Guinness and putting the world to rights.Myrtle and I enjoyed many Christmas parties at The White House,and John's great dry sense of humour at Glyndebourne. We shall miss him greatly and he will always be in our thoughts.
